UPDATE

The appointment was for 9:10 this morning. The computers are down at DMV. They are still waiting! Can you believe California is so archaic? This is why I wasn't really expecting him to get his license today. It's just the way it goes here. It took us 3 or 4 attempts to get our licenses switched and tags for the car. Nothing simple in California. I guess if they made things more efficient, they couldn't justify the bazillions of tax dollars we pay!

But, on the upside, it IS beautiful here. :)
