I should write about my crazy week

But right now, I'm too tired to even COUNT the crazy things that have happened.

Happy Halloween everybody! We have one last cheer competition this week and one more game and it's over. So hopefully things will slow back down a bit.

Cya soon!

Proof that they CAN get along!

They put their initials in this one!!

SHE wanted me to take these pics!

Isn't she cute?

My little Madusa!

I don't think she's ours!

This was after cheer and we had taken it down out of the ponytail. What a mess!

Can you stand it?

Remember Jack's favorite morning spot? Okay, well, maybe it was his favorite all day spot....but look at the big boy who can jump up on the couch now!

Poor Jack. He has no spot of his own anymore.

As you can see, it really bothers him :)

I haven't decided yet

What I am going to do when my daughter can't get ready for cheerleading on Saturday.

Do you have any idea what this picture is?

It's my front door, and the windows above my front door. And the light fixture in the entry way. Now, I have 2 guesses for this. All of us do at times throw laundry over the bannister down to the ground floor. But NOT on this side of the bannister!

Yep, that's her cheer sock with the little stars on it. I can't figure out why SHE would have thrown it down on that side. What I CAN figure is that the Georgemeister probably was throwing her dirty socks at her. I'll keep you posted!

I have to figure out how to get the stupid sock down to wash it!!

My pit bulls

Having boys, it's not unusual to have boys come over and wrestle or play around a little rough, especially when you've got the big tough guys who wrestle. Well, a few years ago, my kids noticed that if anybody got a little too close for comfort for Jack, he would become vicious! Jack has actually bit a few kids. He will actually come after us if we play around and smack each other.

Well, Ms. Suzi doesn't like to get up in the morning. She would like to sleep til noon. I went in to wake her up, and the drama queen that she is, she wouldn't move. So I start pushing on her shoulder. No sooner did I start, and the VERY VICIOUS Diego comes popping out of the covers and he was AFTER me! Scary, huh?

So then it was fun :) I was messing with her, and he just DID not like it! What I can't figure out is if he was protecting Suzi or he just wanted me to get the heck out of there so HE could still sleep! Chihuahuas, I mean pit bulls, they just aren't morning dogs!

In case you were wondering

THIS is what pink cotton candy does to your mouth!

He's a little bigger than my girlie lion!

Isn't he gorgeous?

For some reason, I didn't get any pics of the beautiful tigers :)

It really is sad to see them in a cage like this.

This was their stage yesterday

This was the start of their dance, and Suzi is on the right part of the V, the 2nd from the back.

I have to work today, so I will have to do video later.

The sting rays

Suzi didn't even end up touching one. When they would get close, she would jump back. That really kind of surprised me. This is the child I can see growing up working with animals. Altho, if those animals are in captivity, I can see her taking them home to sleep in her cozy bed with her or her FREEING the animals! :)

THIS was what she was excited about!

You would have thought that the child had never been to Sea World. And Sea World was the only place we could afford to take them all on a semi regular basis when we lived near Orlando. We had season passes, so we would go 5 or 6 times a year probably. I don't ever remember her being quite as excited about it as she was yesterday.

My baby and our baby!

We still have one baby left. Sort of! She waited in this line to go on this ride and when we didn't see her get on, Hubs went over to make sure she was still in line. He came back and brought me the backpack and said she wanted him to go with her. Wait until I tell you what part of this place she was so excited about!

How many people can say this?

I don't know what the percentage would be, but probably quite a few people could say that they have been crapped on by a pigeon or bird, right?

But just how many people could say that a male tiger sprayed them?! Now, I know you're thinking, that had to be MY luck. It probably happened to ME. Well, no.

I was busy pulling my camera out of my purse, and after I got it turned on and about to take a FABULOUS picture of Suzi standing next to a tiger, with only a fence between them, Studmuffin and I both noticed the darn thing turning away from her and his tail pointing SO straight in the air! We both yelled at her at the very same time, and she was actually turning to see why we were yelling. Sure as anything, this huge cat starts spraying. She ran toward us and the guy who was standing next to her evidently didn't know what was happening. He kept standing there, and the cat sprayed again.

I told her he must have thought she was a pretty cute little lion!

And Ms. Animal Lover, save the planet, tree hugger doesn't like tigers too much now :)

I just told her she was lucky. How many people can say they have been that close to a tiger!

1st place!

For those I didn't talk to today,

Suzi had a big competition today at 6 Flags Discovery Kingdom. The pee wees and the junior pee wees swept both the cheer and the dance competitions. One division was 9 teams. We were sweating bullets watching some of the other teams, but knew that if our girls just hit everything they were supposed to, that they would pull it off, AND THEY DID!

Yesterday at the football game, I don't know what their deal was because their cheer looked absolutely awful. As it turned out, I hadn't erased my memory card in my camera, and it was full, so I wasn't able to record yesterday's cheer. I wish I had been able to. You would have thought, there is no way they are going to pull this out! But they did everything perfect today!

40 years! WOOO HOOOOO

Photobucket

I have a new word for you, Dad! Floss, something or another! haha

Photobucket

WOW 40 years! I'm glad you were married 11 years before you had me (leave me alone! this is MY blog :) I'm 29!!!)

Photobucket

Happy anniversary you love birds!

I love you both and wish you 40 more!!

Old mother Korndog

Went to the cupboard...

just CRAVING a bowl of cereal this morning. I wasn't even making a big bowl. But I could taste it already!

I pour it and go to get the milk......

You guessed it. No milk!

Now, this phenomenon wouldn't be a huge problem except for the fact that we must buy at least 8 gallons of milk a week!

The two culprits in this phenomenon are my giant children. Think there's any link to the milk they drink and their size?

He-man went to the doctor about a week ago. I didn't go with him because I was at work or something. Neither he nor I had been to this doctor. Well, I went to this doctor yesterday and when he met me, he said, I just saw a very large person with this last name.

I said, well, no, it's been a couple months since you saw my husband. He looked at me kind of funny :) I was a little embarrassed when I remembered He-man had just been there! He said....that's a big boy!!

Tell me about it. Nobody else can eat cereal in the morning because of my 2 ginormous children!

I hope you noticed

The little pink ribbon on the right-hand side. Please click that now and any time you visit here. With so many clicks, the sponsors give money for mammograms. I just had all those happy tests done and got the bill for it. It isn't cheap. If a sponsor is willing to put money towards mammograms, clicking an icon is a very easy thing to do. It could help one of our moms, grandmothers, sisters. It's very easy to click and takes very little time to do.

Thank you, thank you!

Where's the remote?

My friend was showing off pics of her little grandson the other day, and while he's just one of those that you want to kiss ALLLL over and make him giggle, it made me so sad. All of my babies were so chunky and goofy and loveable and (sigh) I miss my babies! NO, I don't want more. I just want MY BABIES!!

So especially looking at my little Suzi in the picture here, I have decided to stop feeding them all now :) That or can we possibly fast forward through the next few years? PLEASE??

It's almost noon already!

So I have been sitting here doing this for HOURS!

I have to go get some work done. I have more pics and some videos. I will get back here as soon as I can.

Have a great week, everybody!

I'm in trouble!

I just got an email from my buddy whose pic I posted a couple days ago. She's been reading!

Awwww, that was so so sweet what you wrote!!! And, yes, I am going to kill you LOL!!! Couldn't you have made the single pic of me just a wee bit smaller!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to dig through my huge stack of pictures. Did I send you the ones we took in Pensacola?? I think I have a few. Or do you have any? I would love them. Also, did we take any in Atlanta??? We should have taken some at my house too when you were there :(
It's times like now that I wish I had been more of a picture taker. The memories are invaluable! One of these days I am gonna dust off the scrap book stuff.....

So to any of you who are reading, and you haven't started a blog yet to keep your memories in, this is me urging you to do so (especially, you, the one who writes FANTASTIC stories and poems and could write FANTASTIC children's books) (not going to mention any names, JULES)

I can bet you if they had had blogs when my kiddos were little, I would have 17 years worth of memories all in one place!

A little break in the Great America action...

There was lots of whining and crying going on around here this morning. The kids went back to school after the 2 week fall break. No, it wasn't the kids crying. It was the dogs. It's 67 degrees outside right now, and 70 degrees in here. These dogs were lonely and cold. I have shirts on both of them, too. I finally went and got them a blanket, and this is where they have been since.

And might I just say again how very quiet it is today? Hubby back to work, kids back to school. AAAAAAAAAAH it's soooooo quiet!

Suzi's 2nd ride

And YES, this is her friend Hayley in the front of the picture. Suzi's granny is going to have to step it up a notch. That's Hayley's grandma with her. Suzi is in the last car on the right.

This is her TRYING not to smile....

And here, she can't help but smile!

My kind of ride!

She DID make me ride this one with her!

For the record, I have my jacket around my waist. My rolls aren't that big yet!

And it was a HIGH carousel, okay? Suzi kept saying, you're scared, aren't you??! haha

I WAS on the phone with my mommy in this picture!

This picture cracks me up!

Here we have the strapping young men that look a little under the weather after this ride, and the girl is just fine!

That was just my fantastic photography tho. They had a blast!

Yep, I was standing on the sidelines because I HAD to take the pictures. You know, SOMEBODY has to do it! They MADE me :)

It's really bad that everybody in my family now can pick mom up. Luckily, Studmuffin still sticks up for his old wife. He tells them to "Put her down. She's old!"

Say WHATEVER YOU WANT! I AIN'T GETTING ON THOSE THINGS!!! hahaha

We used to be cute and young like this!

Now we're cute and old like this!

I think my family had some weird obsession with white shirts and jeans yesterday :)

This was our Great America trip to see Suzi do her cheer competition.

Last pics in Apple Hill

Neat place, huh?

We got there in the afternoon, and didn't know that all these places closed up shop at 5 pm.

We missed a lot and I would love to go back. The kids are absolutely loving the apple juice and cider.

I am loving my pomegranate and apple juice. YUM!

I'm not trying to depress you, I SWEAR!

Yes, in the midst of the apple orchards and vineyards is a Christmas tree farm!

It really was very pretty, and we thought for all of 2 minutes that it might be cool to go pick out our own tree! We got over it though :)

I want to go back.....TODAY!

For any that are like me

And have never seen vineyards up close and personal!

It took a lot of restraint not to just go up and pick them :)

You might have to click on the pics to make them bigger so you can see them.
