The Hudson River Plane

I thought this picture was pretty darn cool!

Edited to add: The pilot lived across the mountain from me in the same city where He-man used to go to school. Small world.

One more school

To go for He-man, and he will have beaten everybody in our district for wrestling. He has the one that will give him the most trouble to wrestle next Wednesday. He has it in his head he wants to win though. Good luck to my baby boy!

After that, they have a district final, and I'm not sure what from there.

On Monday, George was wrestling someone and somehow came down on his fingers and bent them all the way back. I think we have decided to go get some x-rays. He's still black and blue and can't bend them all the way yet.

And Suzi and I have been sick puppies this week. This will be her third day of school missed this week :(

The good news is, I think we only have about 2 more weeks at most before the cherry blossoms pop out!! haha

I'm sorry!

I haven't been keeping up here. I decided to go to a schooling to be a GRI. It's called Graduate Realtor Institute. I figured that while I am not too too busy, I could handle a little bit of school. It was hard working around that. It's 12 eight hour classes. I made it through my first 8 hrs! I now know to bring something to eat and my laptop next time!

My little baby boy turned 15 on Thursday. Holy SMOKES! 17, 15 and 11. That translates to, dammit, I'm getting old!!!!

My big baby boy had a good day at wrestling today. He was the only one from his team that made it to the final round. The final round turned out to be pretty ugly. With 15 seconds to go in the match, he was winning. Something happened with the clock, and I wasn't there to know exactly what happened, but he got put in a cradle at the last few seconds and ended up losing by one point at the buzzer. Out of 40 teams, my baby boy won 2nd place. That's so darn good. I am proud of him!

We are just working, working. I promise to try to post a little more frequently!

My good son

The one who is keeping his grades up (somewhat) who is still eligible to wrestle.....

(George knows I am razzing him.)

He-man wrestled tonight. He worked and he worked and he worked and he worked. It was one of the longest matches I SWEAR.

The ref kept blowing the whistle like every 2 seconds I think. I would post a video, but they were SHORT!

At one point, the other guy had a bloody nose. So there was a minute or two break there.

He-man was up I think about 4-0 in the 3rd period. FINALLY, he gets this move he had been trying for all night, gets the guy turned over, is about 3 seconds away from pinning him, time was up!!! UGGGGGGGH

He still won though. Did I mention he is eligible to wrestle? In fact, he has never been ineligible for a sport.

George should be ashamed! And life sucks for him right now, so hopefully this will never happen again :)

I love ya, boy, but you gotta do your school work!!

Date Night

It's good to take a 14-year-old boy out on date night with you every once in a while.

How else would you find out that if you eat snickers and banana nut muffins, you burp them both together, and it tastes like chocolate covered banana nut muffins?

Good times :)

Disclaimer: Same said 14 year old was a little hyped up on coke when he was making such admissions.

Same said 14 year old is also in big trouble and ineligible to wrestle due to grades. :( Mom and dad are very disappointed in him right now.

I know I'm pretty quiet right now

It means I am busier than I know what to do with, and my children are BACK IN SCHOOL.

Life is gooooooooooooooooooooooood :)

If I can put a few more of these deals together, maybe I can get a housekeeper :)

It's a tax deduction!!

Only 3 children left in my house right now

And they're all mine and only mine!

School is back in session tomorrow. WOOOO HOOOOOO

I was trying to think of how many different kids have been here over the past 2 weeks. I can't even remember them all!

Except for Michael of course. I had to ask a little bit ago if he definitely had school tomorrow because he was still here :)

It was kind of nice sleeping in and all that, but I'm ready for them to go back now and get back on track. I noticed there were buds on some trees today. I can't even begin to tell you how excited that makes me! I LOVE SPRING!!!!

But I'm not ready for spring break yet. Just sayin....
