Believe it or not, I do remember this. And I do remember thinking what a pain in the butt everybody was when they wanted to use the phone when "I" was on it. It wasn't enough that I was on it 5 or 6 hours a day, but someone wanted to use it for two minutes?! JEEEEEZ!
Well, Mom, Dad, you'll be happy to know what I'm reaping. You know the cell service sucks here, so if we want to make any kind of phone call, it has to be from the home phone. Since I have a 16 year old in love, good luck getting the phone when he's here.
The Hubby has been calling me for a little while this afternoon. Who knew? Said teenager couldn't bring himself to answer the darn thing. Did I have call waiting back then? I'm SURE that I at least answered the phone when someone called :)

Phone sharing
Remember this?
George Porge was SOOOO proud when this happened, and he just thought it was the coolest thing. He was skateboarding and bent down and grabbed his board and his wheel went right over his finger, taking the nail off. I thought for sure there would be a doctor's visit in there somewhere, but he was meticulous in keeping it clean believe it or not!
So that was at least 5 or 6 months ago. He came in here just a bit ago, flipping me off, saying LOOK, MOM! (he thinks he's so funny!) Well, his nail has finally grown past and needed its first cut. It's 6:30 pm. He wanted me to cut his nails. (He can't chew them off anymore since his braces, haha)
I noticed, clean wet hair and a clean smell. WAIT A MINUTE! It's 6:30 PM not AM.
I said what are you doing getting a shower? (didn't even mention the primping of cutting nails)
He said, Mariah's coming over. I should have guessed :)

Can't Leave Out Jack
Our big bad dog got a HUGE ham bone for Christmas. In this pic, he hasn't yet decided that he can touch it with his paw. It took a little bit for his animal instincts to show up, but now, he knows all about it!
