Tumbleweeds

Something I LOVE about California is that for a big part of the year, we are able to have our windows open all day, every day. Tonight, Studmuffin and I were having a terribly romantic dinner, all by ourselves. Yes, we were too hungry to wait for the kids to get home. Okay, so it was only lasagna, so it wasn't terribly romantic. BUT it was awesome because we were sitting at our table, side by side, eating our lasagna with the wind blowing in the door beside us.

Our very exciting lives we lead, a tumbleweed had made it into our very well kept back yard. (yes, it still looks like the pictures :)) So we notice this tumbleweed. Jack also notices the tumbleweed. Acting like a cat, he was making his way over to pounce on it. It was really funny that hubby and I started laughing at the same time, and BEFORE it even happened.

The wind shifted :)

The tumbleweed went to pounce on Jack instead. That dog ran like there was no tomorrow!!

What's a romantic dinner if you can't laugh with the one you love!!
