OMG! There is SO MUCH wrong with this! In the first place, the first pair should read "19th Century." they are 1800s bloomers.
In the second place, the 1800s saw the invention of the bloomers. Before that, women wore NOTHING under their petticoats, corsets, hoops, panniers, or whatever else they wore to disguise the female form. No drawers. Period. Nada.
Third, the undies from the early 70s were the TEENIEST bikini drawers you could even imagine. there was a huge controversy over people wearing things that were just held together with strings.
I am The Mom. I have 3 kids, He-Man (aka my bodyguard), Georgie Porgie (long story) and Suzi Q. I am married to the world's greatest studmuffin. He will be lovingly referred to as either The Husband or My Studmuffin :)
